Customized Training

Learn how to help others through a crisis.

No one is exempt from facing a crisis.

We all have moments when we must deal with a difficult personal problem.

The strength of our community relies on our ability to help each other through those moments.

We’ve developed customized in-person and virtual training programs for organizations big and small. Each year, we provide training to hundreds of people from all walks of life on how to recognize people in crisis and connect them to the guidance and services they need. We’ve provided mental health training for organizations to better help their clients, diversity and inclusion programs for companies, and education programs to improve suicide awareness and prevention.

Our audiences have included: attorneys, students, public health professionals, insurance brokers, law enforcement, healthcare workers, non-profit agencies, veterans, mental health professionals, pharmacists, and the general public.

Let us help you and your organization learn how to better help those in need.

Professional Coaching and Consulting

Mental illness and suicide can affect anybody. That’s why we provide training for nonprofit and corporate leaders who may find themselves in a position to help others, including attorneys, business and human resource managers, healthcare professionals, and more. We can provide customized consulting based on your specific needs and standard coaching programs in topics such as suicide protocols or diversity and inclusion.

Crisis Center Training

We’ve been running a crisis center since 2007 and have learned plenty along the way. Learn from our experiences managing and sharing data, organizing staff and resources, and optimizing infrastructure.

Law Enforcement Crisis Response Training

Law enforcement agencies are often at the front lines of contact with people in crisis. We train them in how to integrate community crisis care with local law enforcement to improve public safety and mental health outcomes for those they serve and for themselves.

Testimonials from our training attendees

A great reminder

“[This training] gave me a great reminder of how anyone can make an impact. I have been sharing the information with my friends and colleagues that are not trained in mental health.”

An eye-opening course

“Mental Health First Aid was an eye-opening course to the world that some people experience on a daily basis and need help with. I feel more confident in talking to others with health concerns as well as interacting/identifying issues at home or with family. I think it has helped me be more compassionate.”

Helping the vulnerable

“A valuable resource to help me with the work I do with vulnerable populations and with friends and family.”
